The Walking Dead Omnibus, Vol. 2 (New Printing)

Robert Kirkman
Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer, screenwriter, and producer, best known for co-creating the massive cultural phenomenons The Walking Dead and Invincible. Renowned for his commitment to creator-owned, long-form storytelling, Kirkman built a defining legacy by subverting traditional genre tropes—evolving a black-and-white zombie survival story and a coming-of-age superhero tale into multi-decade, critically acclaimed epics.

In 2008, Kirkman was made a partner at Image Comics, making him the only person to hold that position without being one of the company's original co-founders. Two years later, he launched Skybound Entertainment, a multiplatform entertainment company that develops and manages intellectual properties across comics, television, film, and video games.

Beyond his flagship titles, Kirkman's extensive bibliography includes defining runs on Marvel Zombies, Outcast, Oblivion Song, and Fire Power. His writing is heavily characterized by intense character development, shocking narrative pivots, and an uncompromising approach to permanent stakes and mortality within his universes.

Tony Moore
Tony Moore is an American comic book artist and the co-creator of The Walking Dead alongside writer Robert Kirkman. Moore’s highly detailed, expressive line art established the gritty, grounded visual tone of the series during his run on the seminal first six issues, and he continued as the primary cover artist through issue #24. Beyond his zombie-defining work, Moore is the co-creator of the acclaimed sci-fi series Fear Agent with Rick Remender, and has delivered celebrated runs on Marvel’s Deadpool, Ghost Rider, and Venom.

Charlie Adlard
Charlie Adlard is a British comic book artist best known as the defining illustrator of The Walking Dead. Taking over interior art duties with issue #7, Adlard penciled and inked the series for an astounding 15 years, illustrating every issue up to its conclusion with #193. His atmospheric use of heavy shadows, stark black-and-white contrasts, and masterful pacing became the undeniable visual signature of the global phenomenon. Outside of the apocalypse, Adlard's extensive credits include Savage, The X-Files, and Batman: Gotham Knights. In recognition of his massive contribution to the medium, he served as the UK Comics Laureate from 2017 to 2019.
