Our Commitments
We started Brixen Vault because the standard retail experience for oversized graphic novels is broken. Too often, heavy books are treated like cheap commodities, tossed into flimsy boxes, damaged in transit, and slapped with surprise import fees.
We do things differently. Here is what we commit to, and what you can expect when you order from our studio.
1. We physically inspect what we sell.
Dropshipping doesn't work for premium books. Every volume that passes through our studio is physically inspected for crushed corners, torn dust jackets, and binding issues before it ever goes into our inventory. If a book doesn’t meet our standard, it doesn’t get shipped to you.
2. We pack for survival.
An Absolute or Omnibus edition is heavy enough to destroy its own box if packed carelessly. We use a double-boxing method with structural padding to ensure zero movement during transit. We don't cut corners on packing materials, because a book is only as good as the condition it arrives in.
3. No surprise EU customs fees.
Buying imported US editions in Europe usually means playing roulette with customs invoices. Because we dispatch directly from our headquarters in Lucca, Italy, there are no surprise tariffs, import duties, or hidden friction for our EU customers. The price at checkout is the final price.
4. We prioritize care over next-day delivery.
We are an independent studio, not a massive robotic fulfillment center. While we process and dispatch orders as efficiently as possible, we will never rush a packing job just to hit an arbitrary deadline. Our priority will always be making sure the book is packed right, rather than packed fast.
Every volume that leaves this studio is inspected and packed by hand. If it doesn't meet the standard for my own shelves, it doesn't ship to yours.

Frank Miller
Honourable mention
vault favourite
